  5.     This program is a simple wad manager that makes life a little
  6. easier for running PWAD files with doom.  It isn't the greatest thing
  7. in the world, I don't expect to get a nobel peace prize,  but it will
  8. make the average dOOM adicts life a little easier.
  9.     I've downloaded numerous  PWAD's from a local BBS,  and after
  10. a while it began to get a little hectic looking through the directory
  11. and typing in everything,  and I thought,  "There's gotta be a better
  12. way to deal with this!"  Unfortunately, I didn't find anything on the
  13. BBS.  So I wrote a better way.
  14.     I cranked this baby out in about three hours, it's limited so
  15. there's little overhead and doesn't seem to interfere with DOOM.  All
  16. you do is use the down or up arrows to highlight the  PWAD  of choice
  17. and hit <ENTER>.  It loads  DOOM with the selected  PWAD.  That's it!
  18. Nothing fancy, plain and simple.  It beats the  hell  out  of  always
  19. typing something like...

  21.     DOOM -FILE KILLME.WAD

  23. everytime you run DOOM with a PWAD!  Okay,  maybe  it's a  little too
  24. simple,  it won't tell you which episode or mission of the PWAD,  but
  25. then again,  show me a version  1.00  of anything that has everything
  26. you need.
